blog hop

Sorry to all those on the blog hop we failed to take part. We really appreciate your support. Mom just could not get her head around it today. She flunked the bloghop. We are all too worried. Your comments motivated us. It is, however, still raining. mom really thanks everyone for their good wishes and concern.

You may not have participated in the blog hop, but Blog the Change has participated in you. I just read a wonderful post about the work you do here: http://www.daleysdogyears.com/caring/seeking-notes-of-support-for-our-buddies-in-brazil/

I want to thank you for all you do and send all the positive energy I have to give. I know this time has been difficult and the days to come will likely be more-so. May you be blessed with enough miracles to outweigh the tragedies.

All the best,
Kim

I learned about you through Daly's Dog Years Blog today and I wanted to give you a pat on the back for the good work your doing. I'm sure things are depressing and difficult where you are, but everything you do is making a difference. I hope you can hold on to that and remember that to keep you going. :)

Best of luck with your work there. I can understand how worried you must be. I'll keep your efforts, and the weather, in my prayers.

Oi :) I, like the others, am here from DDY.

You, your mum and dad do such wonderful work there in Brasil. The dogs you save are in very sad and bad condition. It's amazing how you've opened up your hearts, home (and bakery!) to save these dogs (and other animals) in need. I read of your parents' personal circumstances also, many posts back, and it is even more remarkable that you are doing this work, considering those circumstances.

Your pictures and writing of the floods that have engulfed the area where you live are a riveting first hand account. Thank you for sharing the personal perspective that no international news crew can capture. I live in Australia, not in the area that is flooded. You're right, however tragic it is here, it can probably not compare with what is happening to you. I can understand your frustration. I'm glad that you, your family, and all your rescues have come through the floods and are okay.

I can only send you my best wishes and thoughts. I'm in awe of what you do with so little, and feel ashamed at how easy my life is, and the lives of my dogs, by comparison.

Eu espero voce tem um bom dia. Abracos e beijos.

Thank you for all you are doing for these poor animals. Today, I saw a picture of a dog sitting beside a grave where his hu-man died in the floods. We so often forget about what happens to these displaced animals.

I hope the rains let up soon!
